This sweet girl came to see me this past week and she brought along her older sister whom I photographed a couple years back. Their daddy custom makes guitars (you can check out his incredible work here) and for both sessions he brought along this guitar he handmade. It was really lovely to have a second crack at this shot so you can see them side by side, a glow up for myself if you will!

Both girls were absolutely glorious the entire session, big sister was so ready to smile and hold baby sister I bet she would have just kept doing it all day if didn’t move on.

Mama wanted to do fall colours for this sweet little October babe and I was here for it!

This sweet babe was so good to me. She let me do almost anything and she looked divine in all the props I pulled for her. Mama wanted to incorporate florals and I had just ordered this new black & white floral set I hadn’t gotten to use yet and this girl knocked it right out of the park!

This is such a sweet family! This mama has got to have the most amazing, supportive, incredible parents who gifted her a maternity session + newborn session from me for her very first little baby who was coming in December. I was so honoured they chose me when I know there's so much amazing talent & options around for maternity and newborn photographers and yet they chose me so I wanted to provide an exceptional experience for them.

Mama had her maternity session back in October and you can see that session here. She wore a red maternity gown from my collection and I wanted to tie the sessions together somehow - coordinate them - so I got one my favourite prop suppliers (check her Etsy page out here) to custom create a little romper + tieback set specifically for this baby before she was born.

Sweet Baby R was the only baby in December that was born after her due date. She was also the ONLY baby that did not need to have her session reshot due to fuss or lack of cooperation. She was an absolute dream which I was so relieved about after a month of babies who didn't want to be wrapped, didn't want to sleep or settle or have me in their face with my big black camera. Her session was shot in her own home where I travelled to, in her bay window with stunningly natural, beautiful light. LOVED IT.
