This little dude…he made me W O R K. He was not into having his photograph taken by me and that trend lasted right through to his first birthday photos.

This sweet girl’s mama had her mountain maternity done in early April, a real swing from what her newborn portraits look like. The lakes were still mostly frozen, it was cold. We made the best of it of course, it was super beautiful that day. Here are a few of her mama’s beautiful Banff Mountain Maternity Photos.

This sweet babe was so much fun to photograph, she would have let me do anything I think. She was absolutely precious and didn’t care what I did. Her parents found me through a referral and I am so grateful for things like that. When you tell your family and friends that I am worth the investment to photograph your precious new baby, that means the world to me.

This beautiful family came to me way back in 2019, last minute booking. H lived in Calgary and was looking for a last minute Calgary Newborn Photographer for her first little babe. I fit her into my schedule and just loved her from the minute I met her. I was so thrilled when she booked me again for my black friday sale for her second baby.

I am always so honoured when clients trust me with theirs stories, especially when they might be potentially filled with so much pain before joy. Luckily while this beautiful couple had to experience IVF treatment, they had successful transfers to create these two beautiful little dudes.

This sweet boy tried to fight me but he did such a good job in the end. Mama brought some of her needles and medication bottles from her IVF treatments to photograph and I am so happy with how it turned out.

This sweet girl’s mama found me all the way in LETHBRIDGE, ALBERTA after seeing her friends’s photos of her baby boy! THAT IS MY FAVOURITE THING EVER. Her friend had travelled up from Lethbridge all the way to Airdrie on Easter to have me take her sweet babe’s newborn portraits and so when this mama saw them she knew it would be worth the drive from Southern Alberta.

This sweet girl’s mama knew from the start of booking she wanted florals and that’s basically my love language so it was a match made in Southern Alberta Heaven. To have clients willing to drive all the way up from Lethbridge for me gives me all the warmest feels. I like to think my quality of work is good but this affirms me, and I am so grateful.

We stuck to neutral boho vibes for this session (but bring on the florals, hello) and it turned out so well! She was such a sweet little one and didn’t mind working with me at all. I hope to see more clients come from Lethbridge. Did you know I was born there? I have family down in Southern Alberta and that’s where I am originally from. I want to do a maternity session at the Lethbridge Viaduct ( The High Level Bridge). SOOoOoOoO…if you know someone….send them my way :)

This little dude’s mama booked me for a mountain maternity and I was super excited to work with her. She was STUNNING and her partner had me laughing so much, they were so much fun to work with. They found me from Chestermere and made the drive to have me photograph both sessions.

She’s such a beautiful ray of sunshine!

So when she booked me for her newborn portraits, HOOBOY! What a party. I think the thing I like least about my job is that I only get to see folks a few times. When we really get along and I meet incredible people and hear their stories, it is so amazing but so sad when I know I don’t get to hang out with these folks forever haha!

I LOVED the colours mama picked for this little one’s session, it was fall/ early winter and the tones were absolute perfection.

This darling boy was an absolute delight to photograph. I know I say that every time but sometimes they make me work and sometimes they cut me some slack and this was one of those times. I did this session earlier this year but the moody tones still look so gorgeous to me and I am in awe of them. I hope these beautiful parents love their photos for years to come and I hope to see them again in the future!
